Participant in Mobilize Frederick workshop

The highlights of the M.O.L.E. workshop were being with other educators who are passionate about getting students outside, learning about new lessons that are available now, and being outside!

Educator Resources

Mobilize Frederick develops and provides resources and facilitates professional learning opportunities to advance Green Schools. By utilizing these resources, schools can meet various criteria in Objective 1 of the Maryland Green Schools application.

FOR THE CLASSROOM

M.O.L.E. Kit

Mobile Outdoor Learning Equipment (M.O.L.E.) kits for elementary schools provide teachers with tools to lead science lessons outdoors. The kits incorporate themes from the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s  Schoolyard Report Card, which can be used by students to assess the health of their schoolyards.

Green Careers

Sponsored by MAEOE, the Green Careers Fair introduces teachers to PLT’s Green Jobs Educator Guide and provides opportunities for middle and high school students to interact with career professionals in natural resources, agriculture, and sustainability careers.
