Steps for Schools to Get Started

Step 1:

Review MAEOE’s sample applications and online portal, and the Green Schools pages on this Mobilize Frederick website to become familiar with the program and local resources.

 

Step 2:

Schools within FCPS should contact the Environmental Literacy point of contact, Colleen Beall by email, to learn about efforts underway to support teachers and schools on their path to becoming a Maryland Green School.

 

Step 3:

Contact Mobilize Frederick by email to connect with a Green Ambassador or Green Center.

Step 4:

Attend a Mobilize Frederick Getting Started or MAEOE Workshop and access these documents to start the online application.
