Ben Vivari

Ben is the CEO of Purcell Communications, where he manages the development of content for the investment industry, as well as the co-founder of Till Investors, a consultancy focused on sustainable investing.


Ben is an advocate for sustainable investing by both institutions and individuals alike. He co-authored a book, “Sustainable Investing: An ESG Starter Kit for Everyday Investors,” and designed and now teaches a class on Sustainable Investing as an adjunct professor at Hood College. Ben also led a seminar on sustainable investing at the annual Mobilize Frederick Summit.


Ben is active in the Frederick community, serving on the Investment Committee at the Community Foundation of Frederick County and as the President of the Board of Trustees at Congregation Beth Sholom.


Ben holds an MBA from George Washington University and an undergraduate degree in marketing from the University of Maryland. Prior to his time at Purcell Communications, Ben managed operations for a federal Department of Education contractor with a focus on educational statistics.


Ben lives with his wife and two children in the Baker Park neighborhood near downtown Frederick, and can often be found enjoying the park, the downtown area, and the outdoors of the broader Frederick County.
